The District of Columbia Financial Responsibility and Management Assistance Authority (DCRFA), on behalf of the District of Columbia Department of Corrections, is seeking expressions of interest from qualified bidders to provide prisoner custody services to include confinment, care, treatment and rehabilitation for up to 900 medium and high medium custody male inmates. Bidders must be able to provide, at a minimum, a 225 bed confinement facility within a 500 mile radius of the District of Columbia. The DCFRA intends to issue a solicitation for these services on 043097 with bid opening at 2:00 P.M. EST on 050897. It is anticipated that contract award will be made on 051597. The initial contract period will be from the date of award until 093097 with an option to extend the term of the contract for up to one year. DCFRA may make mutilple contract awards. (0113)
