Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) in
participation with Rome Laboratory is pleased to announce the 20th
Annual Industry Looks At Rome Laboratory to be held on 25-26 June, 1997
at the Radisson Hotel -- Utica Centre, Utica, New York. Rome Laboratory
is the U.S. Air Force's Super Lab for C4I Technology. The specific
mission of the laboratory deals with the science and technologies
associated with command, control, communications, and intelligence
(C3I) -- surveillance, communications, intelligence processing, and
command and control. The first day's session will begin with the
Keynote Address "Air Force R&D Investment Strategy" by Mr. Blaise J.
Durante, the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Management Policy and
Program Integration, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force
for Acquisition. The "State of the Laboratory" willbe presented by
Colonel Bowlds, Commander of Rome Laboratory. The remainder of the day
will focus on Rome Laboratory directorate level overviews and conclude
with a reception/mixer. The second day will consist of New Business
Opportunities briefings and Technology Transfer/Small Business
one-on-one sessions. This program is open to all interested businesses
and universities on a first come, first served basis. A large response
is anticipated, so please register early. The registration fee covers
incidental symposium costs and a one-year membership to AFCEA, as well
as such major expenses as lunches, the mixer (except drinks), one copy
of the proceedings, and mailings. Early bird registration (prior to 15
May) is $225, regular registration (16 May to 15 June) is $250, and
late registration (after 15 June) is $275. Current AFCEA members will
receive a $25 discount on the prices listed above. Your registration
will be confirmed and additional administrative details will be
furnished to you. No refund requests can be honored after 24 June 1997.
