The Operational Contracting Division, Specialized Contracting Branch is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for utility services. We request the following information be addressed: a. Company legal name. b. Principal location. Regional Offices. c. Year founded. d. Company is Corporation, Partnership, etc? Which state? e. Principal Product/Services? Core technology/expertise? The following questions shall be addressed in the RFI: a. Can your company provide electricity, gas and fuel oil? How? b. Identify and describe your sources of supply? If you purchase supplies, from whom do you purchase? c. Do you own means of transmission? How do you plan to transmit/transport the needed utilities? d. Can your company provide energy management services? Describe energy management services that you provide, e.g. consolidated billing, customization of monthly bills, energy accounting software, telemetering, load management, energy conservation, etc? e. List other customers for which you are providing the same orsimilar services. f. Describe the energy pricing model/rate structure/penalities you would propose. What are the major elements of costs and their relative percentage of total costs? g. Does your company presently have the resources or agreements that would allow you to meet the energy requirements for the next five (5) to ten (10) years? h. Describe any capital financing and/or incentives you would offer. i. Why would your company be any better or less costly than other similar companies providing the same service? j. What is the shortest term contract your company would be willing to enter into? k. Are you willing to enter into a performance base contract? l. List any factors that should be considered in evaluating any firm's ability to provide the required service. m. Please list any additional information that should be considered.
