This work includes the provision of necessary labor, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision for the renovations to Building 34. The work includes the removal of railings, a platform and electric devices; relocation and addition to an acoustic panel and door system; concrete piers, steel framing, and concrete slab on metal deck for the second floor expansion; wood doors, hollow metal doors, frames and hardware; metal stud partitions with painted gypsum board finishes; suspended ceiling system with lay-in lighting; resilient tile flooring and base; toilet partitions and accessories; plumbing fixtures with associated piping insulation and electric water heater; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) includes indoor air handling unit, and exhaust fan with associated piping, ductwork and insulation; final testing and balancing; power is provided from an existing panel; fluorescent lay-in style, emergency and surface mounted interior light fixtures, exit lights; interior wiring and devices; power and ground fault interrupting outlets; fire alarm/strobe devices connected to existing system; and all other incidental related work at the Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1541. The related Small Business size standard is 17 million. Completion time is 165 days after award.
