Harvey (205) 235-7558 (Site Code DAAC01) This procurement is for a High Velocity Oxygen Fuel System (HVOF). The equipment must be capable of spraying a coating to replace hard face chrome. The metallizing system applies metallic coatings in the form of molten spray onto metallic or non-metallic surfaces. The molten spray is developed from metal in the powder form, which is fed into a flame produced by combustible gases and compressed air. High velocity compressed air atomizes the molten metal and projects it onto the workpiece to be coated. The circular flame shapes the powder stream to provide uniform heating, melting, and acceleration. This will include testing, contractor supervised installation, and start up. One each. Delivery 180 days after date of contract award. Delivery to the Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama 36201. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered.
