Post Office Box 180, South Paris, Maine, 04281, for one (1) Poliview Integrated Image Enhancement System. (Manufacturer Name-Rofin Australia Pty. Ltd.)This is being negotiated on a sole source basis because it is the only known system that uses high quality band pass interference filters that have the ability to be tuned. Without the ability to tune, absorption and fluorescence techniques would require a very large number of filters to cover the range from ultra violet, visible, and infrared. The system includes the following: Polilight PL-10 with IR (High Intensity Tunable Light Source), Poliview stand base table, Barrier filters in ruler slide holder coving the range from UV (310-380) to 1000nm, Super High Resolution CCD camera with AGC and Peltier cooling, Switch mode power supply and 21" SVGA color monitor, .25-.26 Aperture grille pitch, 1280 x 1024 resolution at 60Hz, Pentium P-120 MHZ CPU or faster CPU,256KB Secondary cache write back, 64 MB RAM, PCI graphics card 64 bit 2 MB display memory 1GB SCSI hard drive, Poli-V forensic software and CD-ROM based training. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) #70219. This solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Small Business-Small Purchase Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Code is 3821 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract.
