The IVRS will be interfaced from a TIPS ground station to the Joint Broadcast Service (JBS). The solicitation number N00421-97-Q-1102 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This new requirement will be using Simplified Acquisition Procedures(SAP)and will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order for 5 months. The engineering services are to performed at both NAWCAD Patuxent River and contractor facilities. The anticipated award date is 13 May 1997. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate the proposed award on a SOLE SOURCE BASIS with Newlink Global Engineering Corporation, 6506 Loisdale Road, Suite 209, Springfield, VA 22150.
