Ockerman, Contracting Officer, 916-934-3316 This project requires furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals for the hand cutting of excess conifers and hardwood stems on plantations located on the Gasquet Ranger District. The work consists of tree release, tree thinning, slash treatment and other related work on 792 acres. Contract time is 160 days. All units are located on the Gasquet District, Six Rivers National Forest, Del Norte county California. Evaluation factors shall include: (1) Experience, (2) Past Performance, and (3) Price. All evaluation factors will be given equal consideration. Estimated issue date is 12 May 97 estimate proposal due date is 11 June 97. Estimated start work date is 21 July 97.
