Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued upon request. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-97-Q-3FA849. This solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. The standard industrial classification code is 3679 and the size standard is 500 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to design, manufacture, and install three (3) new automatic propulsion controllers that are replacements for the existing Silverstats (Model SRD3) for USCGC MACKINAW (WAGB-83). The new controllers must be manufactured and ready for installation no later than 1 September 1997.The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
