JOINT NIMA/GSA/INDUSTRY WORKSHOP The General Services Administration (GSA) and the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) announces a Joint GSA/ NIMA/Industry workshop to be held May 19, 1997 at the Crystal Forum, Crystal City, Va. This workshop will be conducted at the unclassified level and is intended to provide industry information on: Streamlined procurement laws that allow better use of the GSA schedules; an overview of the Federal Supply Schedule and Blanket Purchase Agreements; Process for getting on an existing schedule, plans for a new Imagery and Geospatial Information, Products, and Services Schedule; pricing imagery and geospatial information, products and services on the schedule; requesting vendor support in developing the new imagery and geospatial schedule; and the process and milestones associated with developing a new schedule. Technical and contracting personnel will be available to provide information on above topics. The workshop will be held at the Crystal Forum, which is located on the concourse level of the Crystal Marriott Hotel, Crystal City, Virginia.
