Simplified Acquisition Procedures the revision of previously developed
training modules that are covering the transportation of Hazardous
Materials (HAZMAT). These modules were originally developed as printed
materials which included instructor manuals, student handbooks, tests,
work projects, response notes and answer keys. The printed materials
were developed using Ventura Publisher and various processing formats.
A voice over component was added and all files were converted to the
CD ROM format using Macromedia Director Authorizing Software. The
revisions are required in order to make the training modules consistent
with the changes to the applicable regulations. Interaction with the
user is to be enhanced to ensure that links are to be provided between
the training modules and the regulations associated with them. Small
Business firms classified under SIC Code 7373 that are interested in
proposing on this requirement must request the RFQ in writing or
thosedesiring to receive electronic notification of the solicitation's
posting and availability for downloading may register at the Volpe
Center Acquisition Division home page on the WWW. Telephone requests

procurement will be available on the WWW in text format and reside on

located under CURRENT PROCUREMENT INFORMATION. Contractors are warned
that when they register to receive solicitations, amendments and other

Government will make no additional efforts to deliver information when
the system indicates that transmissions cannot be delivered to the
