C-26 Pilot and Maintenance training for various Latin American
Countries including Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, and Barbados.
Pilot training will include ground school, simulator and flight
training. The objective is to train pilots to meet the Commercial Pilot
Practical Test Standards as outlined in the United States Federal
Aviation Administration Regulations Part 61 as applied to the operation
of the C-26 aircraft. Maintenance training will include a minimum of 70
hours academic training and 2 hours simulator/aircraft training. The
objective is to provide the student with logical in-depth and relevant
material covering component location, normal operation, inspection and
academic aspects for day-to-day service and repair of C-26 aircraft
systems. Special emphasis will be placed on basic troubleshooting,
adjustment and rigging procedures of the more complex systems. Academic
training will be reinforced with hands-on exposure to all aircraft
systems and components, special tools andequipment and functional
mock-ups. Training will begin as soon as possible after contract award
but NLT July and will be presented in Spanish. Training will be
conducted either in CONUS or a combination of CONUS/In-Country
depending on the individual country's requirements. Aircraft and tech
data will be available for the training. The Contractor will be
required to hold or purchase insurance to relieve the USAF from all
loss or liability for injury or death to Contractor personnel, Mexican
personnel or third parties, as well as damage/destruction of property
in connection with the training. A task-order contract will be awarded
