Monongahela National Forest Project ER WV 44(1), in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, consists of slide repair and roadway reconstruction along Glady-Durbin Road. The work includes grading, drainage, mechanically-placed rock embankment construction, and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Roadway excavation, 30,000 m3; Special rock embankment, mechanically-placed, 29,000 m3; Placed riprap, Class II, 5,000 m3; Aggregate base, Grading C or D, 1,500 m3; placed riprap (for Railroad Bed), 5,000 m3.
