Work consists of altering the aircraft engine shop for the Lincoln Air National Guard Base, Lincoln Municipal Airport, Lincoln, Nebraska. Work includes construction of partition walls, moving overhead crane, and adding office space. Incidental work includes electrical and communication service, and other miscellaneous related work. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded using sealed bid procedures. Although not guaranteed, construction is scheduled to begin in July, 1997, and be complete within 250 calendar days from issue of "notice to proceed". Estimated construction cost is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Solicitation documents will be issued no sooner than 15 days after publication of this announcement and bid opening will be no sooner than 30 days after solicitation is issued. There is a $50.00 non-refundable fee for these documents.
