Carson, 912-257-3153, Contracting Officer The proposed contract is for project MDY 96-022, Repair Fire Training Facility at Moody AFB GA, which consists of, but is not limited to furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, etc., to removal and replacement of ignition cables and ignitors; installation of water jackets around ignition cable conduits, installation of nitrogen supply system; installation of hydrostatic relief vavles and nitrogen operated valves; removal and replacement of LP gas tanks and supply piping; installation of gas vent header and piping; removal and replacement of crushed rock; and painting of exposed piping. All work shall be in strict compliance with specifications and drawings. This will be a firm fixed price contract with 90 calendar days performance time. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $100,00 to $250,000. Contractors desiring to be placed on bidder's mailing list for this solicitation package will be required to pay a fee of $13.06 per package. Requestors should submit a certified cashier's check payable to the U.S. Treasury with their written request to Contracting Squadron/LGCC, 4380B Alabama Road, Moody AFB GA 31699-1794.
