70 -- NIH ELECTRONIC COMPUTER STORE II SOL 263-97-P(DB)-0300 DUE 052997 POC Millicent Carr-Manning (301) 402-3072 The National Institutes of Health, DHHS has a need to establish a follow-on to the NIH Electronic Computer Store l contract, for the acquisition of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) general purpose computers and peripherals. This acquisition may result in multiple awards to one or more contractors. An Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery Type contract is contemplated . The Government anticipates awarding a contract for a twelve (12) month period with four (4) one (1) year options. This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis and will contain the following standards: SIC 3571 and 3663, Standard: 1000 employees. This contract(s) will be available for use by all Federal Agencies. A Request For Proposal (RFP) will be available on or about April 25, 1997. The RFP will be available electronically through NIH's WEB site http://nitaac.nih.gov. Any and all amendments to this solicitation will be made available through the NIH's WEB site specified above. Parties interested in responding to the RFP must obtain the document electronically. The National Institutes of Health will not provide hard copies of the RFP.
