INFORMATION ON THE JOINT SERVICE LIGHTWEIGHT INTEGRATED SUIT TECHNOLOGY (JSLIST) PRE-PLANNED PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT (P3I) PROGRAM The JSLIST P3I is a follow-on program to JSLIST which developed a joint service chemical protective ensemble. On January 16, 1997, a Government/Industry meeting was held in Springfield, VA to present to Industry a draft acquisition approach, a proposed test and evaluation plan, and a tentative schedule for the JSLIST P3I program. The Industry participants were also provided a written summary, and they were invited to send comments to the Program Director. The acquisition strategy, and test and evaluation plan have been revised since the January Government/Industry meeting. Firms interested in reviewing the strategy and provide comments can request a copy of the revised draft strategy from Ms. Marie Jean-Pierre, U.S. Army Natick Research, Development and Engineering Center, telephone number (508) 233-5465 or FAX (508) 233-4660. This information is being provided to Industry to keep them informed of progress to date, and to give them the opportunity to comment on the revised draft strategy before it is finalized. Comments on the revised draft strategy must be provided to Ms. Jean-Pierre by May 6, 1997.
