The work includes installation of above ground fuel lines, abandonment of existing fuel lines, demolition of fuel pits, cathodic protection of remaining under ground steel pipe, installation of metering leak detection, and incidental related work. Contract completion time is 360 calendar days. Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bidders shall submit a subcontracting plan in accordance with FAR 52.219-9 SMALL, SMALL DISADVANTAGED AND WOMEN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SUBCONTRACTING PLAN (AUG 1996), ALTERNATE I (OCT 1995). The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1623. The related small business size standard is $17 million. This solicitation is open to all business concerns. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 20 May 1997. There will be a non-refundable charge of $45 per set for plans and specifications.
