The Dahlgren Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren VA is soliciting proposals on fabrication of an Inner Liner composed of TZM (Molybdenum Alloy) in a riveted tube construction in accordance with NSWC drawing 96-F-1044-B. The contractor shall provide all the necessary labor and materials in the fabrication of the liners. Potential bidders/contractors shall have a minimum of seven years recent and relevant experience in TZM riveted construction applications/fabrication and be able to provide documentation of previous contracts/projects for evaluation of this procurement. Liners must meet 96-F-1044-B (revision B) specifications. Any part made to earlier revisions of this drawing will not be accepted. If fabricator should recommend any changes to 96-F-1044-B specifications to reflect best commercial practice, such changes must first be approved in writing by the Contracting Officer/Requestor. "Counter/Alternate" drawings, if required for fabrication of liner, must be approved by Contracting Officer/Requestor prior to fabrication of part.
