R -- PROVIDE MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE TO CHEROKEE NATION IN THE OPERATION OF THE TALKING LEAVES JOB CORPS CENTER DUE 061697 POC Contact Person is Debbie Murphy, 918/456-0671 x2594; Contracting Officer is Joe Byrd or Diane Kelley, 918/456-0671 The Cherokee Nation, a Tribal Government, is seeking proposals from firms to provide Management Assistance in the operation of the Talking Leaves Job Corps center located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. This will be an eleven month contract and a subcontract to the Cherokee Nation's U. S. Department of Labor contract, number JC-3-40-00055. It is anticipated the resultant subcontract will cover the period August 1, 1997 through June 30, 1998. This subcontract will provide direct service to the students of the Talking Leaves Job Corps center and will assist the Cherokee Nation and staff for further operation of the Talking Leaves Job Corps center after the conclusion of this subcontract. All activities will be in compliance with applicable DOL/Job Corps regulations, policies, and handbooks. Those responding affirmatively to this notice, through a written request to the Contracting Officer or the Dallas Regional Job Corps office, will be sent a copy of the solicitation, after publication of the CBD notice.
