This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a printed solicitation will not be issued. Quote number DAKF57-97-Q-0241 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. The quote document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The quote is unrestricted with a SIC Code of 4812 and a size standard of 500 employees. As provided under Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source-Motorola; however, all proposals received by the date specified below shall be considered. CLIN 0001 3 MO Lease of 90 EA Motorola P/N H01RDH9PW1, or Equal, Trunked MTS2000 III Portable UHF 406-420 Band Radio; CLIN 0002 3 MO Lease of 90 EA Spare Batteries for CLIN 0001; CLIN 0003 3 MO Lease of 16 Rack Chargers for CLIN 0001; CLIN 0004 3 MO Lease of 218 EA Motorola P/N HT 1000, or equal, VHF 16 Channel Portable Radios; CLIN 0005 3 MO Lease of 218 EA Spare Batteries for CLIN 0004; CLIN 0006 3 MO Lease of 37 EA Multi-unit chargers for CLIN 0004. CLINS 0001 and 0004 shall be compatible with the existing Motorola Trunked Radio System in use at Fort Lewis, WA. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, with desired delivery 16 May 97 and required delivery 23 May 1997, to 1115th Signal BN, Bldg 9665, Fort Lewis, WA 98433-9533. Award will be made based on compatibility with existing system, delivery date, and price to a responsive, responsible offeror. Offerors shall submit, as part of their proposal, evidence of compatibility with Fort Lewis Motorola Trunking System if proposing a product other than the Motorola product specified, proposed date of delivery for CLINS 0001 through 0006, any additional delivery/pick up charges and completed copies of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, and DFARS 252-212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
