34 -- VENTILATION GRINDING BOOTHS SOL N00146-97-R-0016 POC Linda Marcum, Procurement Assistant, 919-466-2844, or Freda Morton, Contract Specialist, Fax 919-466-3571 The Naval Aviation Depot, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for the design, manufacture, delivery and installation of four (4) each separate ventilation booths. The assembled maximum outside for two (2) of the booths shall be 10'4" wide by 24' long by 16' high. The assembled maximum outside dimensions for the other two (2) booths shall be 10'4" wide by 12' long by 16' high. Each ventilation booth shall be capable of capturing dust particles produced by standing operations. The face velocity of each booth shall be a minimum of 500 feet per minute (fpm) to a maximum of 800 fpm with the use of regained air. This requirement replaces Request for Quote -- N00146-97-Q-V348. The tentative closing date for this solicitation is 05 June 1997. All responsible offerors will be considered.
