Burton (210) 221-4807 (Site Code DADA18) The Contractor shall furnish electronic communications support for various activities/locations for Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The Contractor shall furnish management, qualified personnel, supplies, library, tools, repair parts, transportation, and test, measurement and diagnostic equipment. The Contractor shall provide unit, direct support and general support maintenance for various types of equipment including, but not limited to, tactical computer/ communications/electronic, fixed plant, audiovisual, training aids, and intrusion detection systems. The Contractor shall provide maintenance support to include receiving, inspecting, estimating cost of damage, assigning material condition codes, ensuring items to be repaired are within maintenance expenditure limits, diagnosing, identifying, requesting parts, turning-in parts, documenting actions, repairing (work site and on-site), transporting and releasing equipment. Basic contract period is scheduled to begin 1 Oct 97 and extend through 30 Sep 98, with three 1-year option periods. This solicitation is open to large and small business. Each solicitation package will cost $10.00. Cashier's check or money order is preferred. Each check or money order shall be made payable to DFAS. This fee is nonrefundable.
