J -- BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENT FOR AN/STC-2(V) AND AN/STC-1 INTEGRATED VOICE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS MODIFICATIONS POC Rob Flowers, Contract Specialist, 602-8200 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a contract modification to extend existing Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-95-G-4090 with Lockheed Martin Communications Systems, Inc., 1 Federal Street, Camden, NJ 08102 by one (1) calendar year for the period of 01 May 1997 through 30 April 1998. Orders will be issued on multiple occasions over this extended period. Orders will be issued to receive, inspect, disassemble, and modify AN/STC-2(V) and AN/STC-1 equipment and components. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Lockheed Martin Communications Systems, Inc. is the only firm that currently possesses the requisite knowledge and experience to provide the required effort and supplies within the required timeframe. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
