Mackall, Contract Specialist, SEA 02622M, (703)602-8306 X625 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a sole source contract on a cost-plus fixed-fee basis, to Lockheed Martin Engineering and Sciences Co., 3929 Calle Fortunada, San Diego, CA 92123. The award will be for approximately a total of 747,000 man-hours consisting of the basic year, FY98 and options for four additional years, FY98 into FY02. The procurement is to provide labor and services as required for technical and industrial support to the Navy for the maintenance and repair of DSSP Submergence vehicles, associated support ships handling and support systems and other DSSP systems and assets. A detailed technical data package suitable for a competitive acquisition does not exist. This is continuation of previous work requiring a detailed knowledge of the vehicles involved.
