One solicitation will be issued resulting in the award of three Indefinite Quantity Construction Contracts to the responsible proposers whose proposals, conforming to the RFP, will be most advantageous to the Government resulting in Best Value, cost or price and other factors considered. The Government reserves the right to award two contracts covering the only the seed projects identified in the RFP if the minimum guarantee of funds is not identified for three awards. The work is for demolition including asbestos and lead abatement at various locations for Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Projects assigned to these IQ contracts will use the Solution Order Concept (SOC). Each contract will be for one year with two one-year options. The estimated construction cost for all three IQ contracts is Not-to-Exceed $15 million. The estimate is based on a cumulative total of the three awards. The initial award of the two seed projects will be based on technical and price factors. The technical factor is (1) Experience/Past Performance. There will be a non-refundable charge for obtaining a copy of the solicitation. The estimated release date of the solicitation is on or about 16 May 1997. All requests must be submitted in writing.
