POC: Kay Vincent, Contract Specialist, Building 14B/Autoclave Project: This acquisition involves partial demolition and renovation of an existing 26,400 sf laboratory building and construction of two new annexes for the building totaling approximately, 1,800sf, in Bethesda, Maryland. The proposed contract will be a single award contract. The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Ordering instructions with pricing for plans and specifications, and dates and times for the pre-proposal conference/site visits will be contained in the solicitation package scheduled to be issued on or about May 14, 1997. Contract award will be made on the basis of the best value to the Government with price, technical and past performance factors considered. The evaluating board may include non-govermental personnel (construction manager and architect-engineer). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government.
