Dreger, Contracting Officer, ((04)234-4863. The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC intends to procure a control panel as specified in NAVSEA drawing number 6887857. The control panel shall be made from one piece of 1/4" thick 5086 aluminum; 60" wide by 78" tall. The panel shall have holes drilled or milled through it for mounting gages, valves, etc. Each valve, gage, or switch mounted on the panel will have a specific name alphanumeric code which shall be engraved into the surface adjacent to the item. Engraving shall be 0.015" deep. In addition, piping schematics, which will interconnect all items, shall also be engraved into the surface. All engraving shall be filled in with the specified color paint and a clear top coat applied. The paint color shall be in accordance with FED-STD-595. A total of seven control panels are required. It is anticipated that this will be a firm fixed price award. Delivery requirements are as follow: one control panel within 4 weeks after date of award and the remaining six shall be delivered 12 weeks after date of award. Delivery shall be made to Coastal Systems Station, Panama City, FL, FOB destination desired. A technical capability assessment will be performed by CSS prior to award. Note 1 applies. (0122)
