The crystals shall be ZYB grade or equivalent, with a Mosaic spread of 0.75 0.1 degrees FWHM. The thickness shall be 2 0.25mm, and each piece shall be 20 x 20 mm. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation #53SBNB760134, is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The associated Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this procurement is 3297, and the small business size is 750 employees. Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001 is a quantity of 315 ZYB grade or equivalent highly oriented pyrolytic graphite. The FOB Point shall be Destination, Gaithersburg, Maryland. Delivery is required within 90 days after award of purchase order. Delivery location is the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Building 301, Receiving Room, Gaithersburg, MD 20899-0001. Acceptance shall be made by the technical point of contact, named in the purchase order, at their NIST Gaithersburg address. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items. Evaluation Criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of provision 52.212-2 are as follows: Technical Capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement, Price, and Past performance. Technical and Past Performance when combined are approximately equal in importance to Price.
