POC Pierre Mathies, Procurement Technician, (503) 952-6226 E-MAIL: BLM,
or952mb@or.blm.gov. Work consists of conducting regeneration stocking
surveys on previously planted units. The objective of this contract is
to accurately collect and summarize stocking survey data from plots
examined within unestablished, established and/or potentially
understocked conifer plantations. This survey data will be used to
determine the adequacy of coniferous stocking, interfering conditions
to survival and growth, vegetation trends, and presence of permanent
nonproductive land within each survey unit. Slopes on the survey units
will vary from gentle (10%) to very step (80%). Vegetation varies from
grasses to brush and hardwood species with densities from low to high.
Slash amounts may vary from virtually none to fairly dense, often in
concentrated patches. Project sites are located in the Glendale
Resource Area, Medford District, Oregon. All responsible sources may
submit an offer which will be considered. See Numbered Note(s): 1.
