SYNOPSIS@PHIL.FISC.NAVY.MIL. The FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia intends
to acquire non-personal Repair Services to repair High Pressure
Turbine Vanes (HPTV) for the TF-41 Engine used on A-7 Aircraft. This
requirement is in support of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program
and is sole source directed to Rolls-Royce Canada Limitee, Lachine,
Quebec, Canada by the authority of 10 USC2304(c)(1). It is anticipated
that up to 2500 triple HPTVs may be repaired each year. A fixed price
requirements contract is contemplated with a basic 12-month period
plus four 12-month option periods. The repair process will include
inspection, repair, preservation and packing of the HPTVs. The
resultant contract is expected to cover the requirements of Greece,as
well as (but not limited to) Portugal and Thailand. The applicable
Standard Industrial Classification Number is 3724. Note 22 applies.
