Notice of intent to issue a sole-source contract to Cornell University, Microbiology and Immunology -- College of Veterinary Medicine to report based upon the results of research "Development of Nucleic Acid Probes to investigate the role of Retrovirus infection in the Etiology of Fibropapillomatosis in the Hawaiian green turtle, Chelonia Mydas". The principal objective of this task is to obtain molecular clones of the putative retrovirus detected in Hawaiian green turtles and to establish if this virus is the causative agent of fibropapillomatosis. This is a simplified acquisition with the estimated amount less than $40,000.00.
