The contractor shall furnish the necessary materials, parts, components and equipment necessary for maintaining all hardware and software for the enhanced 911 (E911) emergency telephone services for all commercial and government telephone numbers originating or terminating at Fort Rucker, Alabama, and surrounding satellite basefields and stagefields near Fort Rucker, Alabama. The E911 emergency telephone service shall be provided for use by employees and residents of Fort Rucker, Alabama. The contract period of performance is 1 October 1997 through 30 September 1998 with three option years for the period 1 October 1998 through 30 September 2001. See numbered Note 22.
