Coast Guard proposes to negotiate a sole source contract with Sperry Marine, Inc. 1070 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22901-2891, to purchase a fully operational shipboard ready MK-29 Mod 1 Gyro Compass with all associated components. The only known supplier is Sperry Marine, Inc. Any companies who believe that they can supply MK29 Mod 1 Gyro must identify themselves by 19 May 1997 and provide documentation in sufficient detail for the CG to evaluate that what is being identified as being offered is the same as what is required by this CBD notice.
