potential sources of supply for Clock Buffer units which will
automatically compensate for phase shift or frequency drift between
Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS) satellite earth station
master clocks and the clocks associated with received satellite data
circuits. The required units will gate data out of the buffer using a
clock source derived from the local station master clock. The buffer
will have a capacity of at least 32,768 bits. Modular components may be
used to achieve different ranges of buffer capacity and data rate
capabilities. An external signal will be used to initialize (and
re-initialize) the Clock Buffer when required. The unit must fit into
a standard 19-inch rack and must include a power supply operating at
115 volts, 60 Hz. Any interested sources must send product technical
