The U.S. Army CECOM Acquisition Center -- Washington Operations Office anticipates the issuance of a Request for Proposals, Number DAAB07-97-R-6006, with a release date projected on or before 27 May 1997, for the U.S. Army Logistics Integration Agency (LIA) Program Management Support Acquisition. Proposals will be due 30 days later. The U.S. Army LIA is a field operating agency of the Department of Army (DA), Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics (DCSLOG). The successful offeror shall provide program management and technical support services to the U.S. Army LIA's program management of initiatives and projects for military logistics. Contractor personnel are required to possess a working knowledge of military logistics processes and automated systems. The SIC code that the successful offeror must qualify for under this acquisition is 8711. An indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract is contemplated.
