Colombian Technical Standard 3969 (Transport of Class 6 dangerous
goods. Poisonous (toxic) and infectious substances. Packing/packaging
and land transport by road) is to establish the requirements to be met
by, and the tests to be performed with respect to packing/packaging
and land transport of Class 6 dangerous goods. It also sets out
mechanisms for monitoring the transport of Class 6 dangerous goods
reducing the risks to people, objects and the environment connected
with land transport of toxic and infectious substances and with related
and supplementary activities. 7. Objective and rationale: Protection of
