Davis, contracting Officer, (703) 681-0642 The National Guard Bureau intends to issue a solicitation for Facilities Management at the Army National Guard Readiness Center, 111 South George Mason Drive, Arlington, VA 22204-1382. The work under this contract shall consist of all services including but not limited to facility management, facility operations to maintain mechanical systems as follows: Chiller/Cooling Tower Equipment; Central Station Air Handlers; Glycol Environmental Control Systems; Return Air Exhaust and Ventilation Fans; Adjustable Frequency Controller; Thermal Units; Humidifiers; CALMAC Ice Farm; Packaged Thermal Air Conditioner; Glycol Make Up Pump; Fuel Storage Tanks; Water Treatment System; Wall Heaters; Pneumatic System; Sump Pumps; Air Compressors and Refrigeration Units, maintenance and repair, interior and exterior alterations and minor construction, grounds and interior landscape maintenance including snow removal, pest/insect control, professional engineering support, after hours emergency management systems controllingand monitoring, inspection, testing and furniture reconfiguration and maintenance, and internal communications support. The contract period shall be effective for a period of one (1) year with four (4) option periods commencing on 1 October 1997. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 7623. Size Standard is $5M. The solicitation will be available on or about 19 May 1997. The Closing Date for Proposals is tentatively set for on or about 24 June 1997.
