Sources are sought to provide services at the Base Supply Operation (BSO) at Vandenberg AFB (VAFB), Santa Barbara County, California, an Air Force type Base supply Operation. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools materials, supervision necessary to perform services to include Conventional Fuels, Hazmart Pharmacy, Civil Engineering parts store (COCESS), Transportation auto parts store (GOCOPS) and Material Control. The contract to be awarded will be for 7 month base year beginning 1 Mar 98 and four one-year options. This competion is a 100% set-aside for small business under SIC code 8744, size standard $20 Mil. This notice is to advise of a draft RFP package to be mailed to respondents approx. Jun 1997. If your firm desires a copy of the draft RFP, respond in writing to the contract specialist (you may send your request by telefax to (805) 922-1703. Potential offerors may choose to participate in brief one-on-one discussions with the Air Force to discuss the draft RFP. Details will be provided in the draft RFP and specific dates and times will be arranged with each requesting firm. Potential offerors may also submit written questions or suggestions which will be evaluated for incorporation into the final RFP. The final RFP may also reflect other revisions. The final RFP is planned for release approx. Sep 97 and will be advertised in advance by a separate notice CBD. Potential offerors must submit an additional request in response to the CBD notice of the final RFP in order to receive the final RFP.
