Towles, Chief Contracting Officer, (202) 616-9226 The Office of Justice Programs, Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) is seeking a Contractor to provide training and technical assistance to Federal, state, local agencies, tribal, and other public and private non-profit organizations involved in activities related to crime victims. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to: Task 1) Maintain an Automated Database of Consultants; Task 2) Design, Perform, and Evaluate Technical Assistance Projects (tailored to the specific needs of programs and agencies dealing with crime victims); Task 3) Provide Training and Technical Assistance to Native American Children's Justice Act Grantees; Task 4) Provide Training and Technical Assistance to New and Operational Victim Assistance in Indian Country Programs; Task 5) Provide Training and Technical Assistance Under Emergency Conditions -- Community Crisis Response (CCR) Team; Task 6) Provide COnference and Meeting Support; 7) Adapting Materials Developed as a result of OVC Discretionary Programs; and Task 8) Adapting OVC Training and Technical Assistance Materials to the Needs of Victim Services Providers. The proposed procurement period of performance shall be a base year of 12 months, and four (4) 12-month option periods. The contract is anticipated to be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, firm fixed price contract. The best value approach will be used to evaluate the proposals. The offerors that requested RFP OJP-96-R-008 do not need to submit a request for the above referenced RFP.
