R -- PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH PRODUCT LINE OF FEDERAL HEALTH OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SOL 240-BPHC-32(7) DUE 062497 POC Dottie Laws Watson, Contracting Officer, (301)443-2750 The Health Resources and Services Administration, is soliciting offerors to provide well qualified Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Specialists, as needed, to provide consultative assistance to Federal agencies in the western United States. Geographically this will include the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Guam, Trust Territory of Pacific Islands and American Samoa. Some examples of the types of services the contractors shall provide are indoor air quality assessment, asbestos and lead evaluations, evaluation of chemical biological and physical stressors, environmental assessment, oversight of environmental remediation, safety and health training and hazardous material assessment. The proposed contract is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES (SIC CODE 8741). It is anticipated that a five year (one base year with four option years) indefinite-quantity type contract will be awarded. All responsible small business sources capable of providing the above services are invited to submit proposals.
