MACK (706) 545-2219 (Site Code DABT10) Psychological Trainer for shooters of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) at Fort Benning, GA, in preparation for international, national and olympic competitions. Trainer will conduct an estimated 5 each, three-day seminars on advanced psychology of competitive shooting and an estimated 3 each, one-day seminar on basic psychology of competitive shooting for new shooters. Training materials will also be required for all shooters participating in the seminars. Trainer must have a minimum of three years experience in competitive shooting or weapons training field and have a training program established with a syllabus that will train, enhance, encourage, and ascend shooters to higher levels of competitive shooting. Trainers must also have a thorough knowledge of shooting sports on the national, international and olympic levels and have personally trained or coached personnel in weapons firing, participated on any national team, and be trained in the field of psychology and psychological aspects of competition. The Government will award a firm fixed price requirements contract for the base period 1 Jul 97 to 30 Jun 98, with two one-year options. Seminars will be conducted at Fort Benning, GA.
