The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service proposes to award A firm fixed-price type contract for preventive maintenance/inspection and testing for the Emergency Generators and associated electrical equipment twice a year for 10 different service units. The intent of this contract is to perform preventive maintenance and inspection (PMI) to the emergency generators and associated electrical equipment at the Indian Health Service (IHS) owned and operated hospitals and clinics in North Dakota, South Dakota. The PMI service to the emergency generator system and associated electrical equipment shall conform to the requirements described in the NFPA Section 110, Chapters 5 & 6 and shall meet accreditation requirements of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO) as per EC.2.3.7 described in PTSM, 1995-KIPS. This Acquisition is being conducted under FAR part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Request for Quotation (RFQ) must be submitted to Donna Mikkelson, Purchasing Agent, citing RFQ-97-042. All responsible sources may submit quotes which will be considered. Quotes will be accepted after publication of this notice through May 10, 1997.
