Rowe, Contracting Officer, (301)227-1100 OR Kathy Bonturi, Contract Specialist, (301)227-1302 The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement to procure seven (7) Laser Doppler Velocimetry (LDV) probes and processors to be used with the Fluid Velocity Measurement System. The Statement of Work is divided into descriptions for two major components: probes and processors. The LDV fluid velocity measurement technique is required to make water velocity measurements ouside of a submerged battery operated Navy vehicle. Options will be included to increase the seven (7) processors' signal frequency up to 10MHz. Multiple awards may be made under this procurement. Full delivery of the seven (7) diode LDV probes, and the seven (7) processor modules and workstation hardware and software shall be within 12 months. The RFP shall be issued on or about 02 June 1997 with a closing date for receipt of proposals 45 days thereafter.
