913-682-8700, extension 615 The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP)
intends to negotiate an Architect and Engineering (A & E),
indefinite-delivery contract for environmental and safety related
services for the North Central Region. Services include environmental
investigations, assessments, remediation design and administration,
surveys, testing, contingency-plans, and design for medical-isolation.
Services may include design, construction documents, bidding and
construction administration or assistance to FBOP staff in the
preparation of in-house designs of related work. The amount of services
are limited to $100,000 per year for this requirements contract.
Selection of firms to be interviewed will be based on the following
evaluation factors: experience and performance (30%), capacity and
capability (25%), project and team organization (25%), knowledge of
locality (10%), and proximity to projects (10%). Firms responding by
June 6, 1997 will be considered. Firms desiring consideration must
submit appropriate SF-254 and SF-255 forms. This is not a request for
quotation/proposal. All responses to this notice must be mailed to the
