This is a modification to the prior CBD notice issued 01 May 1997 under Solicitation N68931-97-R-0034; Indefinite Delivery Construction Contracts for Demolition. This modification is to provide additional information concerning the Seed Projects. The first N68931-97-R-0034 and second N68931-97-R-0035 IQ demolition contracts of the three will be awarded with a seed project. One Seed Project will be Project No. R1-97, Naval Air Station Jacksonville Demo Bldg. 3, and Project No. R3-97, Naval Air Station Jacksonville Demo Bldgs. 104, 621, AND 650. The other Seed Project will be Project No. R07-97, Naval Air Station Key West Demo Bldgs. A-631/624/625/627/ 632 and Project No. R06-97, Naval Air Station Key West Demo Bldgs. 1289, A-514/127/943/508/102/630/ 803/969, C-88/83. The estimated cost range for each seed project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The third N68931-97-R-0036 will specify a minimum quarantee and will be awarded based on the same evaluation criteria as the first two selections. The minimum guarantee for the award of N68931-97-R-0034 and N68931-97-R-0035 are the seed projects for the base year only. The minimum guarantee for the award of the third contract is $100,000 for the base year only. After award of the initial contracts to the three contractors, they will competitively bid /propose on subsequent task orders based on either best value, price and price related factors, or low price technically acceptable to the Government through Government/Contractor Team Cooperative scoping of the work.
