reinforce concrete foundations, concrete masonry unit walls, plumbing,
air conditioning and ventilation, fire sprinkler and alarm system,
hydraulic elevator, electrical work, emergency generator, and
incidental related work. Exterior work includes water distribution
system, exterior electrical distribution system, chain link fence and
site work. The work also includes hazardous abatement work due to
removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials, and removal and
disposal of lead containing paint. Estimated cost is between
$1,000,000 and $5,000,000. THE STANDARD INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION CODE
FOR THIS PROCUREMENT IS 1542 AND THE ANNUAL SIZE STANDARD IS $17.0
MIL. This is a source selection procurement requiring both technical
and price proposals. Contract award will be made to the offeror
proposing the best value to the Government from a technical and price
standpoint. Price is considered equal to the technical evaluation
factors. Price evaluation will be based onthe Evaluated Total Cost
Method (ETCM). Technical evaluation factors are as follows: (1) Past
experience; (2) Past performance; (3) Schedule; and (4) Subcontracting
Program/Plan. Large business concerns are required to submit a Small,
Small Disadvantaged, and Women-Owned Small Business Subcontracting
Plan. Proposers are advised that the award of this contract is
contingent upon congressional appropriation of funds. Proposers are
advised that if funds are not appropriated, the solicitation will be
cancelled. If the solicitation is cancelled, all proposal costs will be
borne by the proposer. The proposed contract is unrestricted;
therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business
concerns which includes small and small disadvantaged business
concerns. REQUESTS SHALL BE MADE BY LETTER WITH A CHECK IN THE AMOUNT
OF $74.00 (NON-REFUNDABLE) FOR EACH SOLICITATION MADE PAYABLE TO U.S.
TREASURY. NOTE: Requests for copies of this solicitation must be
postmarked not later than 15 days from the date of publication of this
synopsis in the CBD. Requests postmarked later than that date may not
be honored. Please furnish information whether firm is interested as
