The current battery system in 610 each F-16 aircraft will be replaced with a new and improved sealed maintenance-free main aircraft battery. Delivery will begin 120 days after contract award at a minimum rate of 34 battery systems per month. Lowest Cost (Price)- Technically Acceptable selection procedures will be employed. There will be a two volume requirement for those offerors who the Government technically qualifies in the technical proposal phase (Volume 1). After the technical evaluation, the cost volume (Volume 2) will be required from offerors who have qualified in the technical-proposal phase.
