The following comments on drawing number 97020002 "Pile Frame Weldment Assembly" is also addressed. ITEM 1: Problem with access for all-around welding on the TS 3X3X.25 cross braces inside the W8 beams. SOLUTIONS: Weld around three sides, leaving the inside vertical edge at each end unwelded. ITEM 2: Fitting a cross brace inside the base of the frame, as shown in C-C. SOLUTIONS: Use 1/4 X 3 flat bar top and bottom, full length between the W8 beams. Seal weld and no paint the enclosed area. There no other changes by reason of this modification. (0127)
