in-out type with end to end ventilation for the cleaning of
miscellaneous steel plates, shapes, structures, foundations, and
fabrications for ships during alterations and repair. The room shall be
installed within an existing building and utilize an existing
Wheelabrator blast room foundation. It shall have inside dimensions of
not less than 15' high X 20' wide X 35' long and be equipped with a
powered roll-up work door, two personnel access doors, full floor
reclaim system (screw type), bucket elevator, air-wash separator with
rotary scalping drum, storage hopper, blast tank assemblies, powered
work car, dust collector, fan, ductwork system, control cabinets,
etc..Contractor will be responsible for erecting blast room on site at
Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Naval Base, Kittery, ME. 100% set-aside for
